Corporate Art
Exhibitions, Italy, Roma, 26 June 2015
The National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, in collaboration with pptArt before crowdsourcing platform of art, and with LUISS Creative Business Center, organized the exhibition Corporate Art to emphasizing the relationship between the world of business and artistic creativity.
The aim of the exhibition is to recover the tradition of cooperation between the two worlds, showing signs of a recent rediscovery of the artistic potential in the processes of marketing, social responsibility and corporate communications.
Many companies have responded to the call by selecting one or more partnerships with the world of art relating to the Mission or the Corporate Image company. The Gallery, in collaboration with pptArt, has selected the proposals based on the artistic value and the responsiveness of the artwork with the DNA of the company, excluding the commissioned works in the interests of patronage that have no ties with the image business.

The exhibition includes more than seventy works of Italian and international contemporary artists, along with works by Italian artists historians for Esso, Strega Alberti and Martini.
The exhibition illustrates the wide variety of possible collaborations between artists and companies. Besides scooters, bicycles and cars customized by hand, one of the most frequent collaborations regards the packaging of products inspired by works of art as in the case of chocolates, cards and luxury items. A second line includes the works of art of celebration of a specific stage in life business (new product launches, corporate actions, anniversaries, etc.). Special mention deserve the "icons" or spontaneous representations of brands and corporate products in the works of the artists.
But art is also creativity that does not lend itself to easy categorization, such as the "portrait of professional managers," gadgets as an artist, the works created to inspire a video or advertising for the launch of a current account.
