The cultural association COLLECTIVE Zerovolume index the first prize for artists. The theme of 2016 is: FEMININE SINGULAR. Being woman in a masculine way plural.
Art. 1 - AIMS '
The competition, aimed at promoting Italian and international contemporary art, involves the construction of an exhibition and the final award of three prizes.
The exhibition of the 10 finalist works, voting and awarding of the prizes will take place in Pietra Ligure (SV) August 15 to 22 in 2016.
Art. 2 - PARTICIPATION
The competition is open to emerging artists, students or self-taught, Italian and international. There are no age limits for every candidate, no qualification or curriculum. The award encourages the participation of artists of all levels. At the prize-competition all techniques are permitted, including those of engraving and computer graphics. The works admitted to the final phase will be delivered accompanied by work title, name and surname of the author, description of technique, date of execution.
Will be allowed only works with a maximum size of 100 cm x 100 cm x 20 cm produced on any support: the dimensions shown are to be considered maximum, ie inclusive of any frame.
Art. 3 - PRIZES
Quality, research, innovation and contemporaneity will be the main criteria for selecting the finalists. The work submitted must be the highest artistic expression of the candidate, made in the last 36 months. It is not necessary that the candidate work is unpublished. The theme you need to follow is: "FEMININE SINGULAR. Being woman in a masculine plural world. "
The first prize will be € 400.
The second prize will consist of a weekend (two nights) for two people at the B & B Piccolo Paradiso in Finale Ligure (SV) and put in a jewel up for grabs by Fabio Jewels, Pietra Ligure.
The third prize will be a weekend (two nights) for two people at the B & B Al Giardino degli Artists in Cairo Montenotte (SV).
The winners will be released parchment certifying the results of the competition.
Art. 4 - SELECTION & WINNERS
SEND WORKS
A jury will select a number of 10 works will be exhibited in commercial activities in Pietra Ligure June 15 to 22 and subject, the day June 22, the public vote.
The publication of the competition will take place on August 26, 2016 on the pages of the collective's website www.zerovolume.org
Winners will be notified via email.
The 10 selected works will be divided among the businesses that adhere to the initiative at the discretion of the jury. The day August 22 the works will be gathered and displayed to the public in a unique space for the popular vote. Maximum visibility will be provided equally to all works. Winners will be judged the three works, the ten selected, they will receive the highest number of public votes.
OWNERSHIP 'OF WORKS
All the finalists, except those who will receive the awards, will remain property of the artist or the rightful owner if different from the artist.
The winning works will be withheld and auctioned: the entire proceeds will be donated to charity.
The award is therefore to be understood as acquisition prize.
