I am glad to be among selected artists for the upcoming Pixels of Identities – The Body Language art show in Bogota, Colombia at BAC (Bogota Arte Contemporaneo) from January 21 to March 12, 2016. This international exhibition of photography, painting, video art, installation and performance art is curated by Luca Curci Architects (director of International ArtExpo and It's Liquid Group).
My video art project Parts Elementary will be presented among other works during this remarkable art festival hosted in Bogota.
Pixels of Identities – The Body Language explores all the different facets of social, physical and cultural identities of our contemporary societies. The concept is a research about the body, conceived not only as a material organic system, but also as an evolving organism with peculiar sensations, feelings and characteristics, in constant connection with other bodies and space. The human body is what connects us to the world; the first mean which helps us perceive and know the surrounding reality; a strong communication system with its own language and ways of expression.
