Saturday, July 11 at 18:30 at the Foundation Famiglia Piccolo di Calanovella (Capo d'Orlando, Messina, Sicily) the exhibition "Fragile flowers and enchanted gardens. Nature and myth in the works of Ilaria Caputo " will be opened.
The exhibition, sponsored by the Foundation Prof. Aurelio Rigoli - CIE of Palermo and the Foundation Famiglia Piccolo di Calanovella of Capo d'Orlando, and hosted at the premises of the latter, brings together more than twenty works of this young artist. These works – which combine different media and techniques - show her interest for the themes of nature and myth. From the oil painted flowers on wood to the “paint-sculptures” where terracotta and plaster smoothly integrate with drawings and paintings, from the elegant peacocks to the emblematic figures of the classical myth, every detail tells ancient – even timeless – tales with a contemporary awareness.
