inauguration Saturday 26 March 2022 at 4.30 pm at the former bar of the Center in via Conciliazione, 15 the SCANDOLE D'AUTORE exhibition dedicated to the old shingles of the dome, decorated by local artists, with the coordination of the Desiano Artistic Group.
The old slate shingles removed from the roof of the dome of the Basilica SS. Siro and Materno di Desio become a work of art. Carefully cleaned and applied to a melamine wood panel, they are
have been entrusted to local artists. Each shingle has thus become a
message of beauty, taking on a soul of uniqueness and originality. Exhibited in an exhibition in March 2022, in Desio, the shingles are now in the homes of the Desians who previously booked them.
Initiative within the 'Save the dome' project, in collaboration with the Desiano Artistic Group.
