The No profit Organization “The Format”, has always individualized in the research and in the experimentation in the Arts, the good mean to help the progress of the collectivity and to overcome the crisis formative - reflexive currently in progress.
For this motive “The Format” has reached the determination to launch :
“THE FORMAT FOLLOW ”
1st edition 2014
"Call for artists" to individualize a maximum of 20 Artists, without limitation of languages and techniques, that have nevertheless in their artistic production a high-level of research and experimentation.
Participation
The call is open to artists of every nationality, that have completed the 18 years of age. All the artists that intend to participate in the call must send their portfolio with, the images of the works, a cv and one or more statements to the following mail address theformatfollow@gmail.com.
Before sending the Portfolio, the artist must be send to the email theformatfollow@gmail, the copy of the wire for the donation below.
The portfolio will be sifted by the Art Director of “The Format” dr. Guido Cabib; the names of the selected artists will be made known from April 15th and so month after month through the publication in a special section of the site http://www.theformatgallery.com/ and all social media through a specific focus.
The 20 selected artists will be guests to participate to a collective show: "The Format Follow " that it will be held in the month of February 2015 in the spaces of the The Format - Contemporary Culture Gallery, Milan, Via G.E. Pestalozzi 10.
Strongly due the cultural nature of the Contest, a donation it is in demand of € 35,00, for each Artist, to cover expenses of reception office and organizational.
The payment can be effected by wire transfer to Associazione The Format, Banca Popolare di Bari , Milano, IBAN : IT71 J 05424 01601 000001003541
