In this comprehensive, 5-day workshop, Tina will share her secrets to painting heirloom quality portraiture from both life and photos. Tina will demonstrate painting from the live model, model relations, posing and best practices for successful relationships with professional models and happy commission clients. Tina will demonstrate painting from photographs vs. painting from life, teaching strategies using Photoshop, best practices when painting from prints and taking great photos from the start. Tina will demonstrate the processes she employs in all her works focusing on composition, values, chroma, edges, mark making, and will give key strategies for portrait artists including detailed instruction on client contracts and relations, PR/marketing, social media and how to price your work.
