Biennale contemporary art City of Perugia
About 130 artists between Italians and foreigners participating in the exhibition in the sections and exhibitions within the Biennale.
Perugia (Umbria - Italy) - will take place from 1st to 16th October, the first Biennale of International Art "City of Perugia". The exhibition will be staged in the spaces of the exhibition center "Rocca Paolina", in the center of the Umbrian city. There are about 130 artists, including Italians and foreigners who participate in the various sections and exhibitions within the contemporary art Biennale of Perugia which will be staged in a path that is developed within the monumental and impressive space of the Rocca Paolina, in about 600 square meters.
The idea of the Biennale in Perugia sprang from group reflections of intellectuals and practitioners of contemporary art and media industry sectors, with the support of the Cultural Foundation "Luciano Boccardini" in Perugia, they have designed an open exposure to all artists, regardless of age, gender and nationality. These sections: painting (in all its forms), sculpture, installation, drawing on paper and graphics, digital art, photographic art.36 artists, with prominent names at the national and international level, who will exhibit their works, including: the Italians and the artist, Piero Boni, the photographer Roberto Carnevali winner of the famous IMS Photo Contest 2015; among foreigners: the Cuban artist Pedro García Spinosa, the Peruvian artist Yelitza Altamirano Valley, the German photographer Heinz Schmidt head of the advisory body of the Royal Photographic Society (RPS), the photographer Inta Ruka and after in Italy after 17 years, how, in 1999, with the project "Stories. Storytellers" - presented along with Anita Zabilevska and Ojars Peterson - has represented his country, Latvia, at the 48th Venice Biennale. In addition to the big names many talents, some of whom identified through the network.
The Biennale di Perugia will also take part, many other artists in the "Atelier creative spaces" space, where they will be presented the works of five artists who now do business in Perugia; There will be then the space "Beyond the Biennale" where two major Italian centers, the ANGA (National Association of Parents of Autistic Subjects) Umbria Onlus and CSF adams (Association Cultural Center of Photography adams Experimental) of Rome will participate with 6 exhibitions.
The ANGA will present a collection of paintings of young, edited by Serena Cavallini and Anna Belardinelli, who attend the center. The CSF will present well-adams 5 exhibitions, namely: the photographic exhibition "Family Portrait" Gaia Adducchio, the photographic exhibition "Earth, light and flesh" by Gabriele Agostini and Marco Di Meo, exhibition of ceramics by Daniela Cow, the Group Exhibition Picture "the face and the mask", "shadow Theatre", "Lampi, whirlwinds and explosion", by the students of the CSF adams, which involved more than 80 students of the center and the "Show Riccardo", 12 years, whose only way of communicating the boy is through photographs. The Biennale is sponsored by the City of Perugia Province of Perugia.
