Santi Flores Macia. Esculturas
Exhibitions, Italy, Roma, 20 September 2013
Santi Macia Flores was born in Albacete (Spain) in 1970. Musician and sculptor, he began to shape the material in 1986 as a student of the school as a craftsman in Albacete, although then continues his artistic career more with the music.

Over the years continues to elaborate sculptures, but only since 2009, when he finds his true balance, overlooking the sculpture in a new and more aware.

After several years of experimentation and research, search for a language to feel himself really identified and in 2011 he realizes its first art exhibition, at the beginning in his country and now in the world

In 2013 he exhibited in New York with great enthusiasm from critics and great response from the sales.

"The preferred material is iron, painted and drilled, abandons its intrinsic characteristics, mechanical nature and artifice, to turn into a malleable dough, shaped, he gives life to creatures with human features.

A special technique lies in the holes on the entire surface that suggest extreme dynamism and brightness. Human figures that stretch out his arms to the universe, although too anchored to the ground, they are hurled into space with their bright red, yellow and blue, in a continuous dialogue with each other and everything around them."
