This exhibition is part of the history of painting prize-Morlotti Imbersago. Established by the municipality in 1996 and now two years since 2005 is now in its twelfth edition in 2009. The foundation of Imbersago Granata-Braga, in the intervening years, organizes exhibitions pay tribute to the winners.
During these 15 years the award named Ennio Morlotti was followed and appreciated for both artists who have won both those who participated, and among these, some are now on the national and international scene.
The commitment by the Foundation with Grenade-Braga Municipal Administration is, therefore, seeks to renew the continuity in our tribute to this great master of the 900. The exhibitions arranged between an issue and the other show to have opted for a right choice and consistent with the purposes and goals. The Award and its related exhibitions are an opportunity for the deepening of artistic production for both artists and guests who reserved for the younger generation and to an audience sensitive and attentive to developments in contemporary art.
A comprehensive catalog will accompany the exhibition curated by Giorgio Seveso with Domenico Montalto are the editors of the editions of the award.
The public presentation will take place Saturday, October 23, 2010 at the Civic Hall Fratelli Cernuschi Viale Lombardia 14 Merate 16.00.
The exhibition will be open to the public on the following dates and times:
weekdays, except Mondays: 16.00/18.30
Saturday and Sunday: 10.00/12.00 - 16.00/18.30
