"Constructor set for Adults"
Exhibitions, France, Departement du Bas-Rhin, Strasbourg, 27 November 2015
On 28-29th November, a new cross-cultural European art project « Constructor for Adults » premieres in Strasbourg. Two different artists from different countries were united for one project dedicated to changing symbols and signs of the contemporary society.

In her creative endeavors, Belgian artist Masha Trotzky (Graphis Silver Awards-2014 (USA) and Aesthetica Art Prize-2015 (UK)) was always been focused on visual reflection of social problems. Czech designer Peter Bankov (Grand-Prix in Asian Graphic Design Biennale (South Korea)) is famous for his social and art posters in Eastern-Europe and Russia.

The joint exhibition of this duo is presenting a series of posters, objects and art photography about contemporary symbols: the symbols of war and peace, love and relationship, propaganda and money, religion and social networks. The logos and signs collected together remind one of a Constructor. But this constructor set is not made for little kids, rather it is based on some of the favorite symbols of contemporary society – freedom and totalitarianism, faith and fight, mass obsession and individual protest. Adults are invited to play.
