In her creative endeavors, Belgian artist Masha Trotzky (Graphis Silver Awards-2014 (USA) and Aesthetica Art Prize-2015 (UK)) was always been focused on visual reflection of social problems. Czech designer Peter Bankov (Grand-Prix in Asian Graphic Design Biennale (South Korea)) is famous for his social and art posters in Eastern-Europe and Russia.
The joint exhibition of this duo is presenting a series of posters, objects and art photography about contemporary symbols: the symbols of war and peace, love and relationship, propaganda and money, religion and social networks. The logos and signs collected together remind one of a Constructor. But this constructor set is not made for little kids, rather it is based on some of the favorite symbols of contemporary society – freedom and totalitarianism, faith and fight, mass obsession and individual protest. Adults are invited to play.
