Polis and oikos in the painting of Pier Luigi Ghidini

After the exhibition in Brescia in May 2015, Pier Luigi Ghidini returns to the "Galleria ab / arte" with his latest works that reflect a well-established style, after long years of experimentation, and a theme that he does not give up while going to an updated path to a more marked imprint on nature and to a synthesis of color in backgrounds in which he introduces white and gray. Symbols of mutations in his own becoming in living the city in a world that does not want to renounce to utopia, despite the arrival at the "change" craved by André Breton, in a parallel depicted in the soul.
“Houses designed in much of Ghidini's theme, as agorà in ethical symbiosis with their own specificities. Houses that support - writes art critic Andrea Barretta in the catalog presentation - with one another to leave out brutality and abuse. Spaces delimited and multiplied in sometimes absurd perspectives but in which to take root, a point of reference in bringing the countryside on roofs or windows that look beyond, which overlook fascinating villages and a single city complex ".
