Andrea Barretta conference: "Female beauty in poetry and art"

At the invitation of the cultural association "Gruppo Corale l'Estro Armonico" the art critic and writer Andrea Barretta will hold a conference on the theme: "The beauty of women in poetry and art", Thursday, March 14 at 20.30 in San Vigilio di Concesio. A meeting in a place inhabited by music that hosts a lecture on beauty in art history and poetry, between events and prejudices, between figures of women and artists and poets who have celebrated them, in the dimension of creativity for a reflection between ancient art and contemporaneity, between Venus and Madonna from Canova to Giorgione, to Titian and Caravaggio to conclude with a look today of the same woman on art, from Artemisia Gentileschi to Abramovič.
