STATEMENTS 2013.2
Workshops , Italy, Milano, 20 June 2013
The collective Statements 2013.2 concludes the fourth edition of the workshop manual for artists. All that an artist must know to enter the world of contemporary art, curated by Ivan Quaroni.

The workshop, which is designed in the form of lectures and meetings where the comparison and discussion are ongoing and productive, was held in little more than two months involving diverse artists, place of origin, age and artistic research.

Objectives of the course, on the one hand to refine the critical sensibility of the artists in the comparison of their artistic work and then go out from Closed Dynamic, fruitless, thanks to the encounter with other artists (Silvia Argiolas, Vanni Cuoghi, Massimo Dalla Pola, Shepherd, Michael Rotondi) and professionals (the same Ivan Quaroni, Flavio Arens and Igor Zanti) which allowed a more objective view of their own research and on the other to prepare participants to deal with the art system and the work being artists.

In this regard Beretta Arianna writes in the catalog text: "The ability to go beyond the personal vision, looking for mistakes or weaknesses, it is essential for an artist who, accustomed by now to work in his studio closed, does not have the possibility of a continuous and direct comparison with those who practice the same job. The risk of isolation, especially a partial view, and therefore inadequate, often blocks a production that would in itself all the components to be successful.
The training that the United States is called "criticality" or the ability to exercise a critical reading of his research being able to identify strengths and weaknesses, brings artists to a new awareness in relation to its artistic and work product. "

The works on display range from oil painting to the watercolor from photos to videos to finish the installation.
