1. THE IDEA OF THE EXHIBITION: On the occasion of the exhibition dedicated to the best Israeli artists who have been selected for the event at the MIIT Museum in Turin as part of the international artistic-cultural partnerships between the MIIT Museum and some of the major foreign museum institutions , the selections for the 'Shalom-Pace' exhibition are opened. Turin meets Israel. Comparative Israeli and international art, hosted at MIIT from 5 to 23 June 2018.
THE SELECTED ARTISTS WILL BE RELEASED A STATEMENT OF BENEMERENCE
AMBASSADOR OF PEACE AND THE ART OF THE MIIT MUSEUM
The theme is very broad in its widest meaning of art as an element of comparison, peace, dialogue, freedom, love.
'Shalom-Pace' is therefore an international exhibition dedicated to human feelings and conditions of which art has always been a spokesperson. Love, Freedom and Peace, however, understood also as a general passion for art, a desire to liberate the soul and the mind through every form of expression, the ability to express oneself and society with one's own creativity.
Peace, therefore, understood as gesture energy, as color, understood as love and beauty, as unity, integration and tolerance, but also understood as the participation of men and women from all over the world to a common goal.
The exhibition will be held at the MIIT Museum in Turin from 5 to 23 June 2018 (inauguration: TUESDAY 5 JUNE 2018, from 6.00 pm) at the MIIT Museum in Turin, located in Corso Cairoli 4
4. The exhibition is open to Italian and foreign artists who can participate with various types of works only and
only if selected.
1: Painting with various techniques and materials (max 100x100 cm approx.)
2: Engraving
3: Sculpture in various techniques and materials (max 50x50x50 cm approximately and always to be agreed for total weight)
4: Photography (max 100x100 cm approx.)
5: Installations, Performances, Video Art, Computer Art, Design, various other techniques.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EXHIBITION
1. PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE WORK OR THE WORKS: The photograph of the work or works that the artist wants to present at the exhibition must be sent to the MAIL: info@italiaarte.it, or by post to ITALY ARTE - CORSO CAIROLI, 4 - 10123 TORINO, WITHIN THE MAXIMUM PERIOD OF 2 JUNE 2018 (INTENDED AS A LAST TERM), IN CONNECTION WITH THE REQUEST FORM FOR SELECTION AND ADHESION SIGNED AND COMPLETE WITH ALL REQUESTED DATA. We specify that this is the MAXIMUM TERM within which it is possible to send the material, but it is better to send it much earlier, possibly as soon as the project is received or in the days immediately following, to guarantee a possible selection.
2. SELECTION: The Scientific Committee of Italy Art and Museum MIIT will evaluate the received photos of the works and proceed to the selection for the exhibition "SHALOM-PACE". The assessments will be final and motivated by art historians, art critics, journalists, gallery owners who are part of the editorial staff of the magazine and confirmed by the publisher of "Italia Arte".
The selection will end on 2 JUNE 2018 (INTENDED AS LAST TERM).
The sending of the photograph of his work for the possible selection is equivalent to a contract proposal and must be accompanied by the REQUEST FOR SELECTION AND ADHESION SIGNED BY THE ARTIST.
3. REGISTRATION: The artist, whose work will be selected, will be notified by e-mail or telephone within a very short time (MAX 2 DAYS FROM THE SELECTION QUESTION) and strictly BEFORE 2 JUNE 2018 (we repeat, INTENDED AS LAST TERM).
3.1. SPEED DIFFERENCE: after the communication has been made, it will be possible to pay the registration fee which must be received by 5 June 2018, unless otherwise agreed between the parties. It is necessary to send the signed selection and adhesion request form and the receipt of the payment to: info@italiaarte.it
4. SHIPPING AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORKS:
THE WORKS WILL HAVE TO BECOME THE DRAFTING OF ITALY ART - CORSO CAIROLI 4 - 10123 TURIN, WITHIN AND NOT BEYOND THE 4 JUNE 2018 (AS A LAST TERM, unless otherwise agreed between the parties).
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE WORKS AND DIMENSIONS OF THE WORKS ADMITTED ON EXHIBITION: 1: Painting with various techniques and materials (max 100x100 cm approx); 2: Engraving; 3: Sculpture in various techniques and materials (max 50x50x50 cm approximately and always to be agreed for total weight); 4: Photography (max 100x100 cm approx); 5: Installations, Performances, Video Art, Computer Art, Design objects, various other techniques.
ARTIST SERVICES:
* Presence of photos of the works exhibited in the exhibition on the multimedia totem of the miit museum in the "exhibitions" section
* Exhibition and exhibition venue: "SHALOM-PACE" at the MIIT Museum in Turin from 5 to 23 June 2018 (WITH OPENING TUESDAY 5 JUNE 2018 from 6.00 pm).
* Exhibition / dismantling exhibition, professional guardianì, representation of all the artists present in the exhibition.
* Insurance of the exhibition with a ceiling of € 1,000 at work (artists who wish to have a higher insurance are required to sign one personally); The works that will be included in the deposits of Italia Arte will be insured up to the week following the end of the exhibition and stored in the alarmed deposit of Italia Arte, after which the insurance will expire. The artists will be able to ask for the return or collect the works personally within a week from the return of the same in the alarmed deposit of Italia Arte, personally checking the status of the packaging and the work and possibly, if necessary, to written remarks with registered letter with receipt of return to insurance through Italia Arte. In case they prefer to leave them on deposit, the works will not be insured and Italia Arte will not be liable for any damages if not as a result of a written deposit and custody contract.
* Color service on the monthly "Italia Arte" dedicated to the event and publication of all the names of the selected artists with the sending of the pdf or jpg of the service (who would like the paper copy of the magazine can sign the annual subscription to "Italia Arte" at the agreed price of € 40 for 11 annual numbers + 2 free numbers for a total of 13 numbers with payment on Postal Current Account number 64126816 in the name of "italia arte di folco guido", indicating your name, surname and complete address) in addition to competition fee for the exhibition).

* Press Office activities and promotional and exhibition typographic material. The exhibition will be communicated through the Press Office "Italia Arte Comunicazione Integrata" and the Press Offices of Institutions, Partners and Galleries involved in the project, through informative material such as press releases, press folders, invitations, posters, sending thousands of mails to all the main Italian and foreign media organizations, etc., realized both in paper format and in electronic pdf format, freely conveyed by individual artists; contacts with journalists and collectors.
* Free distribution of the mensil
7. RETURN OF WORKS:
THE WORKS WILL BE REPAYED TO THE ARTISTS IN CASH WITH A COURIER MAIL BOXES ETC.-UPS / SDA / DHL or other, CONVENED WITH ITALY ART, DEBTLY PACKED or delivered directly to the editorial office by appointment. Only packagings in wooden crates will be retained for the return of work. The expedition of the works at the end of the exhibition will be organized in the following 30 days from the end of the exhibition strictly and exclusively by "Italia Arte" by cash on delivery. The works will be delivered to Mail Boxes Etc ... for professional packaging and sent by courier appointed by Mail Boxes Etc ... (UPS, SDA, DHL or other) for organizational and security reasons (or with arrangements agreed in advance with Italy Art). Italia Arte will not be held responsible for any theft, fire or vandalism that may occur during the transportation of the works from the artist's premises to that of Italia Arte and from Italia Arte to the artist's headquarters, upon their return. Transport that will be entrusted, on return of the same, to professional packers (MAIL BOXES ETC ...) and to national and international couriers. The artists are required to stipulate any insurance
for transportation from their headquarters to that of Italia Arte and from the headquarters of Italia Arte to their domicile or to request in writing to the Organization to instruct MAIL BOXES ETC ... and the Courier to charge the artist, in addition to the cost of shipment, even that of the insurance underwritten for the value indicated by the artist himself.
8. MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION:
The informative material of the artists, such as dépliants, catalogs, business cards, etc. will be handed over to the MIIT MUSEUM managers who will arrange to sort it in a targeted manner and deliver it to those who request it during the exhibition. The exhibition will have the guardianìa continued throughout the visiting hours and the duration of the same. While ensuring the utmost care in the custody of the works, the organization will not respond to any theft, fire or vandalism that may occur during transport and exhibition of the works: for packaging will answer the MAIL BOXES commissioned by the organization, for transportation of the works the international courier that will carry it out. For any damage, theft, loss, fire will respond to the insurance underwritten by Italia Arte with a ceiling of € 1,000 (one thousand / 00) at work and only from the moment the work arrives at our Turin office in Corso Cairoli 4. For the further, possible value of the single work the artist can sign a personal policy. The organization reserves the right to record, resume and disseminate the events by any means (press, photography, radio, television, internet).
The Organizer reserves the right to establish further regulations and provisions deemed appropriate to better regulate the events and services involved. Sending images of the works for selection is intended as acceptance of this regulation and constitutes, by the artist, authorization to the Cultural Association Galleria Folco to insert and process in his archive the personal data provided and to publish them by any means ( Law on Privacy Law 675/96).
