It is AR [t] CEVIA for the tenth year!
The contemporary arts festival that had seen us just ten years ago ...
Ten years are an important milestone: a first flag that sanctions the success of a project. And of course, the AR [t] CEVIA Contemporary Arts Festival is not a simple project, especially considering the place where every year, since 2008, is taking place, attracting artists and a niche audience from all over the world.
However, in these years AR [t] CEVIA has exploded out, through its centrifugal force and centripetal.
Therefore, the inauguration of the X edition of Saturday, August 5 at 18:00 at the Casa del Parco and the visit to Palazzo dei Priori, the headquarters of the collective: the moment when the big, new projects will be announced, many of which Realized in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Arcevia, always supporting the Festival.
Projects that, from here to the next few years, aim to broaden the views, marking once and for all the close and strong historical bond of a vast area of the territory as a "cradle" of contemporary arts and muse of many enlightened minds.
This year the Festival also reveals the new artistic trends, ranging from different genres to even the opposite.
The established peculiarity of AR [t] CEVIA of facts is precisely to identify genres, styles and concepts that introduce plausible new artistic languages, leaving total freedom to selected artists, to present their own projects and their own research.
It is such a peculiarity that over the years has created a real "underground" race for the workmen to hire some of those who exhibit: a value that has been confirmed by many of the artists and experts, including the historian Slovenian art Jure Micuz who visited AR [t] CEVIA in 2015 (on an exhibition and various events organized by AR [t] CEVIA at a Slovenian art gallery).
The Festival's format has always been one of its kind, with a group of experimental arts at Palazzo dei Priori, featuring over 40 artists of all genres and backgrounds, and for the duration of the Festival, projects ad hoc for Castles from artists who, for the first time, discover and come into contact with the territory. That's how the month of August is going to be very busy with performing arts, music, installations, videos, and more.
