Site Specific installation | Theory and practice

APRIL 25-26-27
During this workshop participants will be invited to dialogue and interact with spaces and objects of the Fondazione Aurelio Petroni in an eighteenth century building.
Places and objects full of significance, memory and history will be the context and the matter of the piece of art on which the students will act inserting fragments of contemporaneity capable of reveal the most hidden and mysterious aspects of centenary heirlooms.
The whole project is infact based upon the concept of Site Specific work, the artistic process which strictly relates the artist's work to the space for which the piece of art is realised using different multimedial languages (video,audio,material assembly, etc)
