ARCANA The Seal of Light presents Andrea da Montefeltro
Exhibitions, Italy, Urbino, Piandimeleto, 11 December 2016
This new exhibition by Andrea da Montefeltro in the Oliva Castle of Piandimeleto. It is presenting new works, unknown that enrich the exhibition and who will see these works in major museums and national and international contexts.
The artist's path is consistent and clear of fervid and increasing elaboration of ideas in historical subjects, mythological and religious; and trembling, hot truth in the works that associate itself over the valuable stone Miratoio even the implementation of LED technology.
It sculpts masterpieces of surprising modernity, despite the implicit reference to the new archaeological sensitivity, never forgetting the close link and the legacy of the past.
In the works of Andrea da Montefeltro you notice immediately an artistic intervention bestowed by a 'intense interpretation of the sacred in a modern context, and full of suggestions.
Science and religion communicate in these works of impact countless sources of expression typical of the same thought, which is the apex of live communication and cognitive structural condition, in a succession of moments extremely thoughtful, life beginning with continuity it include the plastic fabric to read visions, scrutinize gracefully by the author.
In the festival also the work created as a testimony of closeness of the Italian people to the French people for the attacks that the country still has.
An exhibition created entirely with the Montefeltro stone that offers excellence as a land rich in history. The matter is transformed into plastic way, masterfully led by a dream that does not seem to land. Nothing is left to chance, every crevice, every detail, every form has its transcendent symbolic value. Each object made from previous moves away and does not repeat itself even in part in the next because it is born from an idea that changes and that is already full, in every detail, before being shaped into the stone.
To try to understand the work of Andrea da Montefeltro, you must enter his philosophy of life, in his need to adapt to the continuous change of existence. The works of Andrea are never descriptive, do not copy nature, but express the intuition of profound philosophical and historical concepts, rendered with personal rhythms, almost a musical work with unknown known, which does not follow the classical arrangements, but it is equally a musical sense defined, balanced and realized: no copy but it creates, does not follow trends, but look for the essence of things and thought that does not decompose over time, which continues to resist even if the world changes.
