To the work of Bernard Heller:
Bernhard Heller forces a free gestural painting, in blurring the lines between figuration and abstraction. Intrigued by the possibility of generating movement in painting, he developed his visual ideas usually directly from a color space out.
The works of the artist will be destroyed in the development process by scratching through paint, and blur simultaneously within the painting process. Like a tightrope appear his paintings, an internal reflection between the birth and death of all things.
Sources of his art are conveyed by the media images or memories of personal experiences. Extract in the belief by painting images of his inner world of ideas, there is a mixture of found and intuitive creative process.
The figurative paintings of the artist appear like fragments. You could assign an advertisement or maybe a movie. Symbols of our culture that can retrieve our collective memory, without being judgmental, let the viewer all the possibilities of perception open.
In his latest works, Bernard Heller deals with the environment and makes people disappear into their holds. By reducing the human figure, for it takes the human being out even more and wants to invite the viewer to look at it with his own content to imagine a plane or to dream.
The 1977-born artist from 1999-2003 at the Academy of Fine
Studied Fine Arts in Vienna and already had several exhibitions at home and abroad.
Main theme of his new work is the landscape, located therein objects and humans.
For PUNKTUM ART Bernhard Heller goes to the question of the cowboy myth which has been present since childhood in all of us.
