The inspiration of IMAGES FROM SILENCE was born in september 2010: 22 poems of Emily Dickinson transformed into 22 photos.
The project starts, Giorgia looks for a model able to act and pose for the difficult task, for a make up artist, out of common, artist and creative.
In december Giorgia is ready, and in february she started: Laura Cerini will be the model, and Roberta Demolli the make-up artist.
Every picture is a long and exhausting study. Emily's poems are difficult, sometimes they leaves you without words, and without images.
In november the photos are 22.
There is a 23rd but it will be included only in the future book.
"IMAGES FORM SILENCE" don't want to be just an interpretation of Emily Dickinson's poems, but also a try to give answers to her questions.
A vain attempt maybe, or is there in the photos something else?
The introspection involved Giorgia and now it wants to involve everybody.
