The recurrence of improvisation in these ever-changing contemporary times is the answer that EXXX-Extemporary Experimental Exhibition gives to these hollow shells of the Venice Docks during the week of the 70° Venice Film Festival, in the run-up to the 55° Art Biennale.
EXXX is not a static exhibition, but a forge of performative, audiovisual, installation and multimedia ideas. A forge in a perpetual state of change, where independent artists interact both with each other and the environment around them to provide a series of changing experiences together with an open interaction with the audience. Every piece created within this artists’ hub will be filmed, recorded and uploaded, or reworked before being published in the virtual world. A dizzying “digestion” defining the dualism between man and the ether with performative, sound and visual experimentation.
There will be cameras and a website to ensure that EXXX leaves its mark on the world.
