The company CO.ME.L. Latina, which organizes and sponsors the event and that gave birth to the exhibition of the same name (in via Neghelli), meanwhile, picks up one of the most respected awards: it is in fact ranked among the ten Italian companies (including great names such as Furla, Telecom Eni, Trussardi, Terna, Cairo, Nescafe, Illy, the Italian Post Office) who believe more in contemporary art. A tangible sign that what has been sown from 2012 onwards saw the fruits ripen. In memory of Vanna Migliorin, Mazzola brothers have carried on with his passion project for the promotion of art and many artists, known and unknown, who were able to expose and confront free within an artistic environment increasingly international . The award COMEL in fact acquired a European capacity and identifying high standards of artistic quality of not only the national territory.
The thirteen artists selected are Alessandro Armento (Salerno), Mark Aspinall (England, UK), Alessandra Baldoni (Perugia), Myreboee Berit (Germany), Claudio Bozzaotra (Naples), Silva Horses Ferns (Bergamo), Laura Cristinzio (Naples), Giampietro Of The Lambs (Florence), Anna Renata Di Buono (Arezzo), Maslen & Mehra (England, UK), Andrea Meneghetti (Vicenza), Norman Soscia (Latina), Matthew Buffer (Torino). Exhibit in the exhibition entitled "Light as aluminum", to be held at the Space Comel from March 21 to April 18). The overall winner will receive a cash prize.
The jury is formed by Giorgio Agnisola, art critic and essayist; Marcello Carlino, researcher of the History of Literary Criticism; Anna Cochetti, art critic and independent curator of contemporary art; Augusto Pieroni, professor of History and Criticism of Photography, essayist; Maria Gabriella Mazzola, manager of the aluminum industry.
