Twenty-five artists to Palazzo Pirola

A Palace Pirola us to the second stage of the review Feminine, Plural. A super event that brings together twenty-five of the most interesting names in the art scene of women in Italy.

A double stage because here, one step away from Milan, from 18 October to 9 November meet the protagonists of two exhibitions born under the sign of Biffi Art. First, I look at the world, from June 27 to August 3, collected in the gallery of Piacenza eyes of 14 women. From photographs of poetic Alessandra Baldoni to the infinite spaces painted by Linda Carrara, from mazes of trees Marika Vicari construction sites teeming with Marina Previtali, flowers carnal Chiara Albertoni those imposing Brigitta Rossetti, from the silent rooms of the chaotic crowd Tina Sgro Liliana Cecchin. And then girls Elisa Rossi, the soft pattern of Cristina Iotti, kaleidoscopes of Claudia Scarsella, chaos fairy Loredana Galante, the truest of the true children of Marica Fasoli, to the music, photographed in vibration by Marina Giannobi.
The second exhibition, The spaces of the dream, will open on November 22 in Piacenza to a close on February 8 next year, and will gather eleven other unique voices and unmistakable. To recount the dream, the fantasy. Sometimes the nightmare. And so here, in the Palazzo Pirola, preview a taste of their work.
Dreams of Alice Colombo are reflected in collage vague, packed with little details to follow with his eyes like a treasure hunt. Are girls who bring a leash multicolored birds or whales are stranded in the branches of a tree, the protagonists of the stories told in a light tone and whispered. Federica Gonnelli instead recreates the dream through installations which accommodate the viewer as an enveloping embrace, all played on soft lighting and transparency, in a continuous change and doubling of reality. If Jara Marzulli with a liquid paint, light, evokes timeless female figures, stops in a suspended moment of abandonment and meditation, instead, they give you an idea of strength warrior women who Adele Ceraudo minuziosissimi plays in his pen drawings, where she itself is transformed into the protagonists of the most classic iconography of sacred art. An "other" reality, vibrant, highly mobile, made of a transparent material by aquatic suggestions is the one created by the hands of Annalù. With her fiberglass foam becomes teeming, wave, butterfly wing, living entity, breathing and enchanted. If Ieva Petersone us with his paintings in an icy world and perfect, punctuated rooms in the metaphysical world, where icons of design spaces become the protagonists of the hypnotic geometric balances, of a different kind is the space in which we invite Chiara Coccorese. His photographs, collage constructed as full of objects that are created or retrieved from her, we rushed over Alice's mirror, in a world where the proportion cancel out, the reference points are reversed, inviting us to float in a feeling of uneasy bliss. And then there Florencia Martinez, with his photographs printed on fabrics in bright colors, glittering with its embroideries that are tales of life and with her installations where objects of the house, covered with cloth and soft spines, one are at the same time welcoming and threatening. Ilaria Del Monte, with its enchanted maidens captive of rooms, where the mirrors reflect unreal images and objects come to life. Francesca De Pieri, who with his photographs of quarries and botanical gardens, double printed on transparent sheet provides us with a new look, vibrant and pulsating nature. And Giovanna Lacedra, with a series of watercolors inspired by the dream women's poetry (by Sylvia Plath, Anne Sexton) and the performance Nonsonomaistataunabambina - scheduled for the opening - which depicts the nightmare of childhood ill loved one and waking up to life.
