The overwhelming and impetuously innovative artistic power will be featured Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 19:00, at the exclusive exhibition space called "Wave art gallery" of Sorrento, located in Via San Francesco, 25, where he will inaugurate the exhibition " Contact ".
Contact is the first of a series of educational exhibitions designed to promote art and design through meetings devoted to "new proposals", Italian and foreign, combined with style and type of research to the names already established in the industry.
The entire route is created by the will of the general manager of ONDA art gallery, Cappiello Leone, assisted by pubblic relation Isabelle Lemaitre, from Gaia Gargiulo (head of the secretariat) and Paul Savage, artistic director of the Museum of Artistic MAGMA and Observatory Milan, organizer of the biennial international single "United Factories", which will be held during Expo 2015.
In this first exhibition you can admire works of remarkable aesthetic and conceptual, identifiable in the areas of research spatialist, informal and figurative known artists from all over Italy, such as: Aniello Scotto, Vincenzo Mascia, Roberta Serenari, Max Coppeta, Alfonso Coppola, Laura Venturi and Michela Ezechiela Riba.
Writes of ONDA art gallery critic artEmiliano D'angelo: "Wave, more than being a gallery or a center of visual arts, is proposed as a collector of energy and new visions independent, as a positive perturbation in transit a territory (that of the Sorrento peninsula) that deserves access to the most ambitious cultural standards. Deserves, especially, to pick up new signs and new creative energies come from the innovative sectors and the most sensitive of the international art circuit.
The chosen name alludes not only to the presence of the sea, with its stigma that marks the beauty of Sorrento: alludes to a new way of propagation of ideas and collective enjoyment of the universal heritage of beauty and style. Wave, according to the famous definition of Einstein, "is something that propagates through matter but it is not matter." More that movement is a flow, which grows in the quantities and power gradually that its propagation progresses. But there is no fixed direction, no one is able to pre-order or schedule the spread. The wave is a collective phenomenon and shared, rhizomatous, capillary, the only way to effectively circulate ideas and vibrations within the "liquid" society in which we live. Now seems to be coming to sunset the era of the great guru of the art, the opposing factions, the instances ismatiche engaged each other in tight against dialectical and politicians.
Wave advocates the universality and non-reducibility of Bello in a pure attachment of labels or territorial boundaries. Fetishism of the school or the author, opposes the exploitation of the work.
The geographical discrimination suffered by artists who do not come from the strong areas of the market reacts by providing the square plural and strategic Sorrento, its open terrace ideally on the world. Towards its sea furrowed by waves vital and inexhaustible. "
So, in this perspective, Sorrento stands as the crossroads of new creative proposals that cast an unshakable bridge between the present and the future, building, in key renewed, the past of this land, now inextricably linked to the myth of the Sirens odissiaco, who gave the birthplace of one of the greatest Italian poets of the '500, Torquato Tasso, and that, during the eighteenth century, had distinguished guests of the European intellectual world as Goethe, who was fascinated by the amenity of charming places.
