Art Event "Poetry in Visual"

Art Event "Poetry in Visual" ("A Poética do Visual") presents more than 100 works by national and international artists.
Visitors can enjoy an Art Tour around 4 cultural points in the city center: the Museum of the City of Aveiro (artistic intervention of contemporary works in the permanent collection), the Gallery of the Capitania (contemporary art exhibition), Cultural Association 'Mercado Negro'(concerts, events and video presentations) and art-cafe 'Disha Gourmandise' (excellent coffee, delicious cakes and art exhibition).
This curatorial project benefits of the partnerships of the Municipality of Aveiro and of the University of Aveiro.
The exhibition "Poetry in Visual" features creative works in which poiesis is the message and the desire which subordinates the choice of theme and technique. Participants responded to the challenge of searching for poetic elements in contemporary art and their works show the same concern. The exhibition includes painting, sculpture, photography, artist book, installation and video art.
