It will be held in Rome, at the premises of the CaffeLetterario Viale Ostiense 95 October 19 to 31, the first solo exhibition in the capital of Flavio Campagna Kampah in Art F CK.
Kampah and 'a multimedia artist known internationally. He lived in Rome, London, Los Angeles, Sydney and Bali. After working for 30 years in Design, Television, Advertising and Film and have had clients such as U2, Ridley Scott, Apple, Nike, Toyota, Nissan and many others, Kampah started from the capital, about a year ago, with a new creative adventure that leads him to exhibit his work successfully overseas.
Tired of working exclusively in the commercial art world and for years after painting in his spare time with oil paints, Kampah decides to express themselves in the world of painting through the technique of Stencil (thin layers of hand-cut paper aimed at creating masks then carefully colored with spray cans on canvas), so popular in the field of street art world.
The first work done at Rome in the spring of 2011, which were predominately political and express discomfort moral and cultural artist, who returned to Italy for family reasons after having lived abroad for a long time.
Biting and satirical portraits of Berlusconi, Gaddafi, Labor, Saviano and Obama but also important historical and political figures such as Garibaldi, make the rose of the first subjects of the artist, with these creative expressions expresses his scathing critique of a society that believes politically corrupt and socially degraded.
His first exhibition in Parma (his hometown) provocatively titled "Hanging Silvio" receives excellent feedback from critics and audiences.
Subsequently, the artist was invited to participate with an exhibition of his work and a large video installation framed stencil, the first national holiday of the newspaper's premises Done After Hours at Taneto of Gattatico.
In the same year some of his works were exhibited in the Gallery at Salmagundi Studios Australia in Sydney.
Meanwhile, the expressive technique is refined and his subjects range spanning the universe of music and youth condition.
On his return to the United States are offered the artist a few shows in Los Angeles, including the exhibition of his work at the First Biennial of Venice Beach organized dall'Hammer Museum in Los Angeles at the Blue House (one of the historic homes Jim Morrison), used for the occasion by Dogtown Art Gallery Artist Revolution.
Exhibit his works at Caffe 'Literary Rome Kampah represents a consecration of the work done within a year, returning to bring his creations to the place of their origin. The exhibition contains approximately 25 pieces of large canvases and video materials will be shown that illustrate the style and the stages in the career of this multimedia artist, winner of countless awards, including an Emmy Award, and in the permanent collection of the MOMA video Museum Of Modern Art in New York with his TV spot directed for Cherry Coke (Coca-Cola) in America.
The artist will be present at the opening.
