"NETWORK: FROM TURIN TO CHICAGO AND VICE-VERSA" CONTEMPORARY ART AND THE ENVIRONMENT AS A MIRROR OF SOCIETY '"is an exhibition conceived and curated by the international magazine" Art Italy "and by the Cultural Gallery Folco. This is a project that aims to strengthen links and to stimulate the dialogue between the young and old artists of the Italian academies and cultural institutions of the U.S., especially in Chicago, creating an important opportunity for dialogue between the various contemporary trends. Will involve about 30 Italian artists of fame and many Americans, in a double exposure (one in Chicago and one in Turin), which will become showcases of contemporary creativity Made traveling in Italy and the United States. The theme of Change, of experimentation, the change in art today than ever before will be accompanied by a selection, even symbolic, artists and themes. The monthly magazine "Art Italy. The best culture and Made in Italy "is to promote an artistic and cultural exchange with 33Contemporary Gallery, a leading art gallery in Chicago, led by Sergio Gomez, to celebrate not only the hundred and fiftieth anniversary of Italian unity which sees Turin , the former capital of the Kingdom of Italy, protagonist of the celebrations, but, conceptually, the strong bond that has always pre ¬ binds and unites our country and our countrymen to the United States of America, a journey that for over 150 year sees a deep link between the Italian people and American art, history, tradition, custom, culture. The choice of Turin as the Italian branch of the project and exhibition in Chicago, as the U.S. office of the exhibition of Italian authors, is also dictated by the role of the two cities in the field of contemporary Mondia ¬. The collaboration is part of a larger plan reports that "Italy Art" has with the Italian Cultural Institutes in the world, museums and foundations in the United States and Italy, with many contemporary Italian artists and the Associations of Italians abroad .
