The cultural association SIGN ON ART, 1 to 31 April 2012, presents the fifth show of the Imagina-cycle events of art entitled "POINT OF FIRE" at Imagine Cafe in Venice.
The perceived space is a variant of our existence that we manipulate at will through the senses.
As travelers, we capture the frames focusing on the memories that respond to the flash memory as intermittent. Mark Minarelli, with its photographic compositions, plays the voice of the soul, showing blurred and ethereal landscapes in which resurfaces the immediacy of the act, the truth of the face.
Nomad photography, his travels are inseparable from the camera, we are not faced with a visionary, a magician, but a simple messenger that gives us a new choice of communication with the intimacy of each one. The soul is not verbalized, intuitive, immediate, so Mark sections that is superfluous to the vision and gives a focal length straight and safe way to balance.
There is the right focus, the right position, the right feel, the right step, but there is the existence of the moment, without judgment.
The choice of photographic prints on PVC panels emphasizes attention to the measure: gross when the landscape supports the figures, when the microscopic level caresses the focus point.
The spectator returns the child, playing with geometric shapes and forms that are repeated in specific visual relations. The mathematics surrounding the synergy of stable photographs leaving us with the desire to move the image as a modern touch: just the touch of curiosity magically moves the screen.
Mark Minarelli Lives and works in the province of Bologna, his birthplace. Was born on his photographic journey in 90 years, and in 93 starts solo and group exhibitions in the territory Emiliano they collect interest and appreciation of the public. Until 2000, the combined exposure to photographic slide presentation of audiovisual reports receiving several awards. Last photo exhibition of B / W film in 2007 until 2010 he toured the country. Master of art combines a passion for photography with that of the journey, faithful friend throughout his life. He took pictures in different parts of the world, including Bolivia, Peru, Guatemala, Belize Easter Island, Chile, French Polynesia, Los Roques Venezuela-, India-Rajasthan India-Laddakh, India-Kashmir, Burma, Thailand, China-Junnan, Cape Verde, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya-Acacus, Namibia, Madagascar ... and a bit 'all over Europe.
