(ANSA) - L'AQUILA, AUGUST 22 - Free of territorial boundaries and preconceived labels, regardless of artistic genre, to mention the work of art in itself, with all its creative value. Born with this intention the exhibition "Arte no caste - unlabeled creativity", curated by art critic Chiara Strozzieri, in its second edition until September 10 next L'Aquila, at Palazzo large buckles (9-20 hours).
Debut labels there were not really: it chose not to include captions alongside the works or biographies in the exhibition catalog, to avoid having to frame an artist and judge it based on past experiences or to its participation, or not, to reviews International. This year, the formula is repeated. And there is a theme that inspires the works, that of 722 / to Celestine Pardon - ongoing Aquila until August 28 - "The man asks for forgiveness to the environment". A subject on which you have ventured 63 artists including painters, sculptors and photographers from all over Italy. The first edition - held in Pescara in dell'Aurum spaces - set off by the urgency of a group of contemporary artists to break free from the chains of political and intellectual caste by dominant years in the cultural landscape; namely an idea born of the artist Gabriella teatina Capodiferro, president of the cultural MGC (Watching the Creative Movement) which in Chieti for years organizes art workshops for adults and cultural events.
