The Cultural and Artistic Association of Social Promotion Graffialisti I, with support from the City of Gaeta, Lazio Region, the Province of Latina and of Regional Park of Riviera di Ulisse, presents the third edition of the Open Meeting Art Gallery Independence.
The project is now established and recognized for its high vocation and social development of the area, as well as for their contribution in research and artistic experimentation, it has been a great success since its first edition, in view of generosity and character innovative consisting of "bring the Art in direct contact with the public."
These last two aspects justify the inclusion of the full project Open Gallery Independence in the group of national events, compartecipati and completely free, attributable to the new concept of Neo Patronage, with which we tend to praise the constructive symbiosis between artists, associations profit and Public administration, far from any merchant need.
The peculiarity of Independence Open Gallery is to act as an alternative to the usual dedicated locations - behind closed walls - making artistic messages that underlie every work of art accessible to anyone, just by walking through the streets of Gaeta, City of Art.
This year's meeting will be divided into three artistic summer events "Open" (Saturday, July 6, Saturday, Aug. 3, Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013), with its appointments "Indoor" - consisting of weekly exhibitions housed within the Cyrus Gallery Atelier "The first House of Graffialisti" and organized mainly in the months to most weather risk - spreading well beyond the cultural offer of the summer, going into the spring of next year, as has happened for the last year.
As usual Open Gallery Independence - commonly called Open Gallery - will be staged at Gaeta, along the characteristic street of Independence, the heart of the historical center of Porto Salvo, promoting the meeting / active dialogue between the participating artists.
Candidates may participate in the selection submitting your own work falling within one or more of the following artistic fields:
- Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Photography, Installation, Performance, Video - Art, Cartoon, Cyber R03;R03;Art);
- Applied Arts (Architecture, Visual / Web Design, Fashion, Digital Creation).
To make a frame to the art gallery on the road, there will be numerous cultural events, including, musical and theatrical performances, poetry readings, and much more.
In view of the concrete realization of the appointments, the organization will take care of the selection of the material placed in a vision, with the aim of providing effective diversification of content of the various expressions of art proposals. The artists-selected exhibitors will be assigned a space within which they can set up their own exhibition stand, according to regulatory requirements.
