"OPEN GALLERY INDIPENDENZA 2012" - Open call for free partecipation in artistic Meeting.

The Italian Cultural and Artistic Association of Social Promotion "I Graffialisti", sponsored by the City of Gaeta, the Province of Latina and Riviera di Ulisse Regional Park Authority, presented the Second Edition of the art Meeting titled: "Open Gallery Independence ".
As part of the sharing of messages and arts projects, especially for public utilities, remember, also, for example, some other initiatives carried out by the Charity Auction which pro flooded regions of Liguria and Tuscany, and the proposal the construction of a bike path that joins the towns of Gaeta and Formia, the enhancement of the Way of Independence in Gaeta.
And now I Graffialisti reproduce the tried and tested formula of exposure outdoors.
The Meeting will be divided into three artistic summer events "Open" (Saturday, July 7, Saturday 04 August, Saturday, September 1, 2012), plus the novelty of the meetings "Indoor" - consisting of weekly exhibitions housed within the Çirò Gallery Atelier "The first House of Graffialisti" and organized mainly in the months to greater weather risk - spreading well beyond the cultural offer of the summer, going up to the spring of next year.
The “Open Gallery Indipendenza” will offer an occasion for meeting/confrontation between the participating artists.
These will provide for a day, their works in an exhibition on the characteristic and suggestive Way of Independence in Gaeta, historic and fascinating city street, so as to merge into a unique ensemble, enhanced by a unique urban choreography, communication experience, styles and techniques, helping to promote cultural and artistic experimentation, exploiting the same territory (version "Open").
In the "Indoor", however, the selected artists will have the opportunity to participate in exhibitions organized weekly at Çirò Gallery Atelier, a modern exhibition hall organized and managed with professionalism and seriousness, a meeting place for enthusiasts.
The "Open Gallery Indipendenza" offering the public an alternative to the usual locations "enclosed within walls" objectively facilitates the encounter with art - encouraging the production and performance - but, above all, makes it easier to contact directed by the same artists / exhibitors, the real protagonists of the event.

Candidates will participate in the preselection presenting their work within one or more of the following artistic fields:
- Visual Arts (Painting, Sculpture, Engraving, Photography, Installation, Performance, Video - Art, Comic Strip, Cyber Art);
- Applied Arts (Architecture, Visual / Web Design, Fashion, Digital Creation).

Moreover, as the last edition, 2011, the Meeting will host artistic, musical performances, poetry readings, and much more.



In view of the concrete realization of events, the organization will make a careful selection of material placed in a vision, to ensure a qualitatively high level of exposure.
The artists-selected exhibitors will be given a special space, which will set up their exhibition stand according to regulatory requirements.
