Marc Chagall. Signs and colors of the soul
Collections, Italy, Salerno, Cava de' Tirreni, 28 March 2015
From 29 March to 28 June 2015, the MARTE Media Art Events Cava de' Tirreni (SA), is hosting the exhibition Marc Chagall. Signs and colors of the soul. In continuity with the great retrospective devoted to the artist Milan Russian, among the happiest interpreters of twentieth century, the exhibition curated by Ada Patrizia Fiorillo pays attention to his graphic work, offering a select choice of 77 tables including lithographs and etchings, created by the artist between the '20s and' 50s.

The exhibition aims to be an exciting journey between the lines and the magic of colors of Chagall, leading the viewer to explore, understand and penetrate the different souls of the artist.

The route is divided into five cycles from which the works are taken: Dead Souls, The Fables of La Fontaine, The Bible, Chagall 1957 Dessin pour la Bible. These are flanked by the color lithography Chagall monument, created by the artist in 1973, and the etching The donkey with bunch of flowers, 1968.

With the press in the cable and the flat Chagall will explore the expressive potential related to the significance of the sign and the use of color.
