March 8 , International Women's Day , is hosted at the Carpe Diem the solo exhibition of Salerno , but adoption of cosmopolitan , Anna De Rosa.
The painting of Anna De Rosa has been recognized by experts as " naive realistic " ( that gender identification was confirmed by The Pollock - Kransner Foundation of New York and The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington , which collects the works of all painters from the past until today ) .
His muse is Frida Kahlo , but the references to Anna De Rosa are also to Paul Gauguin, Vincent Van Gogh, Francis Bacon , Lucian Freud, Henri Rousseau , Joaquin Sorolla .
The artist says: " I draw and paint jet how do I write it ! And ' the canvas or the wall (I'm a muralist I really like to paint on large ) to give me the forms , proportions , prospects, chromaticism . And ' instinctive ... I choose to paint in empirical form and direct what is already in me , I know the techniques but I like to experiment and use recycled materials ! "
Anna De Rosa is also a writer : he has published several books , is present in literary anthologies and child storyboard director Antonello Novellino has edited and written screenplays with her daughter Sara Novellino that have become videos, short films and commercials.
