Eros and Thanatos , imaginative symbolic journey between opposites

The Unique Gallery of Turin organizes at its headquarters ,
the staff of Claudio Franchino entitled Eros and Thanatos ,
imaginative symbolic journey between opposites.
The event will take place from 26 October to 16 November 2013, brings to view a selection of works in acrylic on the theme of the eternal clash / encounter between Eros and Thanatos , which marks has always been our human gait in the maze of existence: prevalence of one or the other, on the first floor of the spirit than on the biological causes being made in the image and likeness of their god to break the veil of certainty, only to find himself in the ocean of contradictions that we call life .
Claudio Franchino moved with great force on the sense of anguish and elation that comes from the struggle of Eros and Thanatos : he does it with a painting compelling, often disturbing, sometimes humorous, always heartbreaking .
