PAINTINGS OF ANIMALS OF THE PRESENT AND THE PAST
PERSONAL EXHIBITION OF VALENTINO Camiletti
UNIQUE TO GALLERY OF TURIN.
It opens Saturday, April 6 at 17.00 at Unique Gallery of Turin, the staff of Valentino Camiletti entitled Fauna picta, paintings of animals present and the past.
The exhibition is on display until April 20, offers a choice of works where reality and fantasy are wedged in a parallel space, it is allegorized the nature and the role of evoking ancestral figures. Animals caught in attitudes "normal", in fact they offer the viewer with their load of meanings, but they can be foreshortened behind the appearance of the impression pictorial surface.
Occasionally makes an appearance owl, with its evocative power that refers to the night and darkness, but also the sacred dimension as a metaphysical aura enveloping the figure of Athena.
And then wolves, cheetahs, tigers, mountain lions: animals better than others embody the symbolism of the wild world, with its rules often violent and cruel when seen homocentric view, notoriously poorly objective when it compares to living beings deemed "inferior."
To find out what else reserve the pictorial art of the Camiletti the Gallery is by appointment Unique April 6 to 20.
