The sculptures of Pino Di Gennaro reveal the presence of an artist from the culture complex, layered,
full of references, suggestions, criticisms as well as reinterpretations, of course, the new expression,
conceptual and material.
Gennaro is first of all, a baroque artist, in the 'wider and more articulated than the term.

In Di Gennaro will recognize the echoes of Boccioni's Futurism and dynamism, the experimentation
Spatialist of Fontana, the playfulness of Alik Cavaliere and compositional rigor of Arnaldo Pomodoro.
Di Gennaro, after art school he graduated in sculpture at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.
From 1976 to 1999 Figure modeled and taught at the School of Plastic Arts Disciplines of
Monza and at the Art School I of Milan, at the same time, from 1991 to 1994 holding the course
sculpture at the City of Milan. In the summer of 1991 and 1992 teaches the course "From
plaster model of the lost wax casting at the training center for the treatment
Artistic Metals, organized by the City of Pietrarubbia.
From 1999 to 2006 he was Professor of Artistic Anatomy at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sassari.
He currently teaches first band at the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan. The intense activity devoted to learning and teaching of sculpture is made explicit in the writing
the textbook "The ways of the sculpture," and was published by the Publishing House Hoepli.
His current research is directed at the relationship between sculpture-architecture, the social function of
sculpture and installation art in urban spaces as opportunities for interaction between work space and
the user.
