Training area: Interaction Design
VVVV is a multi-purpose programming environment oriented to motion graphics, able to handle real-time video, audio, 3D animation, internet, multiple interactions with users, sensors and controllers.
The visual interface allows the rapid prototyping and intuitive management of large amounts of data. As there is no difference between coding and runtime support is ideal for live performance, interactive installations, videomapping, multiple projections distributed.
PROGRAM:
The workshop analyzes the approach to generative software using VVVV, for use within a Live View.
We will see how to use and edit video and audio sources, from the internet or from a camera, and realize half / mapping 2D and 3D. Objective is the creation of video random semirandom, chaotic and reactive audio controlled via MIDI.
The aim is to use simple software interfaces through analog devices to be used in audiovisual performances.
And 'when defining the possibility of using the results of the workshop as visual performance in an evening of electronic music.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
It is not necessary to have prior experience with VVVV. The workshop is open to beginners and will start from the base.
