SPAC”E”SCAPE

Spacescape exhibition has been conceived by Cristiano Cervino engineering&architecture.
The world "spacescape" is a neologism combining the spaces exploration with the strong willingness to escape reality.
German social philosopher Ernst Bloch wrote that Utopias, however regressive it may be, also included an impetus for a radical social change. Something that is mere escapism from the viewpoint of a technological-rational society might be a seed for a new and more humane social order, as it can be considered as an "immature, but honest substitute for revolution".

OPENING NIGHT

Along with the Art Exhibition meanwhile.in.texas is bringing you his latest live music, influenced by post-rock and drone music, meanwhile.in.texas uses electric guitars, keyboards, field recordings, analog synthesizers, samples, mixers and drum machines to build multi-layered soundscapes with a strong emotional impact.
Partner of the event will also be the debut "node furniture.design", newborn local reality that operates in the design of complementary furniture: each item is a unique piece and is made from raw materials closely linked to the region Apulia.

Nice idea, - just the space around our bodies has changed, with mobile phones, computers, and the web, where do we stand still, in space?
