This second exhibition of Contemporary Woman carry on the investigation of the role of the artist in the society that surrounds it and the way in which the female figure is seen by some women who make art.
Protagonists of the exhibition are Eugenia De Scalzi, painter, Ilaria Giolli, painter, and Ilaria Innocenti, photographer. Three artists who stage the personal vision of the woman being able to emphasize the theme of female in art is diverse and difficult to define, as are the same artists. The only thing that unites them is the choice of working on the female body, however, treated differently from painters and the photographer.
By choosing to showcase works so different, the intention is to involve as many voices in the debate on the difficult definition of the role of the woman and the artist in contemporary society.
