BERLIN GLITTERS // KED Olszewski
Exhibitions, Germany, Berlin, 10 October 2012
KED Olszewski s objects sparkle and glitter.
The artist, wanting to change the aura of usually unnoticed objects, bathes them in glamour and places them in the limelight.

He surprises with his ideas and intelligent humor, but also inspires the viewer to reflect. His artistic style is characterized by wit. He seeks to make each observer viewing his works of art for the first time experience an unexpected and very different perception. It is not kitsch or trash that the artist tries to show. What he intends is a new view of all the things that usually nobody pays attention to.
A VW beetle, a concrete mixer and an advertising pillar can be seen on exhibition at the Neues Kranzler Eck. During the Festival of Lights (www.festival-of-lights.de) there will be a magic aura of glamour about the objects illuminated as Berlin Glitters .
Photos and videos of the transformed objects and video documentations of the performances by the artist on the occasion of the Festival of Lights are will be presented at Freies Museum Berlin (www.freies-museum.com). It will be the first time, that the artist, who lives in Szczecin and is already well- known in Poland, will be presented in Germany.
