TRANSITION - THEN AND NOW
The work of Art depicts the human super power attitude, and trying to establish that mankind is more powerful than the nature.
The sitting Buddha under the big tree reveals the human humbleness, and his finding was desire is the root cause for all destruction. But now destruction has become our desire.
Another sitting Buddha, bigger than the tree reveals the man kind is bigger than the nature attitude.
The smaller Buddha will be done with a simple form to depict the humbleness of the then human.
The bigger Buddha will be done with some wheels and other machine junk spares to depict the mechanical life of the human now.
The floor of the smaller Buddha is done with rugged effect. On the other hand the floor of the bigger Buddha is neat and clean tiled effect. This shows that the nature was rugged and man was humble. The latter with wheels and other forms shows the complexity of the man and our artificial layouts of the earth to day.
The bigger tree will have some birds on it. The smaller tree will not have any birds on it, which shows we chase the life around us away.
Also the mankind obeyed the nature before, but to day we think nature should obey us. Thinking like this we are directly or indirectly causing the destruction of the mother earth and making the mother earth imbalanced.
