"STARTERS - ASSAGGI D'ARTE" AT THE SIENA ART INSTITUTE AND IN THE LOCAL NEIGHBORHOODS.
Tuesday 4 February at 6 pm you are invited to the Siena Art Institute for the first appointment of our spring season of artists' talks, with Korean artist Maelee Lee, visiting artist at the Siena Art Institute for the month of February.
There are 14 presentations in our spring calendar, with many interesting speakers from the international world of art. (every Tuesday at 6 pm). A new initiative for this semester is that 4 of our spring presentations will be hosted by the local neighborhoods of Siena, the "contrade" of the Giraffe, Tortoise, Dragon, and Caterpillar. This is a way to strengthen our program's connections with the local community.
Presentations are offered in both English and Italian. For those presentations in Italian, service for sign-language interpretation is also available (Lingua dei Segni Italiana) in collaboration with the Mason Perkins Deafness Fund.
