"StARTers": presentation with musician Marco Robino

Marco Robino is a composer, cellist and the founder of the Architorti Quintet. He was educated in Torino under Maestro Adriano Vendramelli. At his “StARTers” talk he will discuss his collaborative work with filmmaker Peter Greenaway, which is a response to the maxim "cinema is dead" and has received high praise from many critics.
The group has worked with Peter Greenaway since 2004 on movie and video soundtracks for projects such as Toulse Luper Suitcases, The European Showerbath, Peopling the Palaces, Leonardo's Last Supper, J’accuse, Goltzius and the Pelican Company.
Architorti Quintet has collaborated also with musicians like Arturo Stalteri, Tony Esposito, Subsonica, Africa Unite and their leader Madaski and with instititutions such as Museo del Cinema di Torino and Torino Film Commission.
