stARTers with Michele Bazzana

Italian artist Michele Bazzana will discuss his work in a talk that is part of the weekly series “StARTers – Assaggi d'arte”. Presentation in Italian.
Bazzana was born in S. Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone) in 1979. He studied at Venice Fine Arts Academy, and in 2007 attended the Antonio Ratti Visual Arts Advanced Course in Como. In 2009 he participated in the DENA Foundation for Contemporary Art Residence Program in Paris and in 2011 in the CARS Residence Program at Omegna on Lake Orta.
In 2007 he took part in the International Prize for Performance, Galleria Civica di Arte Contemporanea of Trento. Some of his recent exhibitions include: Motohome, SpazioA, Pistoia; Indoor, Monotono Contemporary Art in Vicenza, curated by Daniela Zangrando; When the Impossibile Happens, Festival 03 Performazioni, M.A.GA. - Museo d'arte di Gallarate; Future Pass, Fondazione Claudio Buziol, Venezia and Wereldmuseum; Rotterdam, curated by Renzo di Renzo, Victoria Lu, Felix Schöber. He lives and works in Codroipo (Udine). The talk is organized by the Siena Art Institute together with the association Culture Attive (San Gimignano).
