New exhibition for The Art Gallery Epireo involving about 60 artists and a location of
great prestige and charm as the Monumental Complex of the Mouth of Truth in the heart of
Capital. The choice of a building of great historical value, was dictated by the intention to give
importance and relevance to the works on display, creating a short circuit between antiquity and
contemporary useful to highlight the strength with which the current is imposed on the ancient art,
remaining, however, in harmony with it.
TODAY - Sons of Contemporary, an exhibition organized in collaboration with the Academy of
Free Alexandros Sciences and Arts, under the patronage of Cultural Policies and
Historic Centre of the City of Rome, stands as a contemporary revival of
Baudelairian concept of a "painter of modern life."
Going to investigate the intrinsic meaning of the terms and Sons of Today's Contemporary is just

Consequently, "children of the contemporary" becomes part of this new experience, an unpublished
journey that started in the first quarter of this twenty-first century, it makes all the participants of the pioneers
new artistic frontier.
The Vernissage will take place May 21 opening of the presence of Director Ages and art critic
Dr. Mara Ferloni, Director and Editor of Signs and the Art of Dr. Nicolina Bianchi
historian and art critic Dr. Alessia Cervelli. During the evening will be presented with the novel
Nelly Putignani author, "Hello Dad - A rustle in time" (American Caribe Group
Publisher) and will be announced the names of 13 artists who will access the Fifth Edition of the Prize I
Grifoni. In addition, during the evening will pay tribute to the Maestro Vittorio Carpignano recently
disappeared.
