10 years together

The Association LaborART in these 10 years has organized exhibitions of painting (personal and collective, on specific topics and any subject), sculpture, photography, were offered special fittings, meetings of reading, book presentations, musical moments, performances (a well-nary ass!), theater performances, children's workshops. They exhibited many artists, Italian and foreign; generous volunteers have worked so much, dedicating time and expertise. Thank you all, collaborators and artists, have been achieved good results. The greatest satisfaction was sharing this space with great artists working in humble silence, having known of the personality the writer Emilia Sarogni who fell in love with "Project ARTEMISIA" and each year honors us with his presence. Project ARTEMISIA (exhibition female) is our creature, it is two or three weeks a year dedicated to art experienced by women, painting, sculpture, decorated porcelain, photography, raku ceramics. During the exhibition there are always many events: book presentations, various conferences, screenings, performances. LaborART, small space in the province of the VCO, is enjoyed by those who live in big cities, someone said that here is an air of "living and not of the gallery," for us it is a great compliment! In this exhibition displaying 33 artists from all over Italy a Colombian and a Frenchman, of course there are so many genres of painting and many techniques, including a fresco by a local artist and work, almost a relief wooden canvas of an artist of Novara, Novara always a picture-wood carving and work with the technique of "incittura"; in addition to painting there is a very interesting sculpture made of iron and cement Rhodoid an artist of Varese, lamps made of wood and other materials always from the province of Varese, lamps and glass panels with the technique Tiffany (Domodossola), ceramics and painted porcelain (Turin), raku ceramics (Milan), and very original bags made of various materials: fabrics, tapes, artificial leather (province of Verbania). They are all creations to be seen !!
