Without words

The works in this exhibition are a collection of paintings, objects, collages and furniture, including Flow Series. It is the artist’s intention to allow the work to communicate directly with the viewer: each work has its own poetry and voice. To enable this, the works remain untitled. In this way, the viewer is able to engage with the works in unprescribed ways, entering into the poignant silence and space which is both within and around them.

Flow Series

Flow Series is a new body of works that explores form and space by experimenting with the union of parts, including materials, colours and shapes. It is the exploration of process that distinguishes this collection: using wax crayons on stretched paper, Morley takes on an approach to creating that is akin to play. He employs a variety of applications and techniques, intuitively following ideas on a surface and allowing for spontaneity that is pure and present.
