exhibits, from Friday, April 5, its strong and ironic cloth Vuedu Factory
In the space of the artist Daniela Vinciguerra Palermo action lays bare his art
"Speaking of pigs ..." provocative title for the exhibition by Roberto Fontana which opens Friday, April 5 (from 19) from Vuedu Factory, a multifunctional space for Daniela Vinciguerra being Sperlinga 32 (Teatro Massimo area).
"The paintings I present are pictorial representations of pigs, men, depictions of ordinary people, faces, or in many cases self-portraits. The idea is to make fun of the current situation of the company - says the artist - and also to continue my path consistent. Lately I've felt the need to tack on strongest expressions. The man and the animal are linked by the common ground of the flesh, a critique violent society where the man is the victim and perpetrator of himself "Without a doubt we are meat, we are potential carcasses. Every time I go to the butcher I am always astonished the fact that I am not there, instead of the animal "... this phrase of the painter Francis Bacon sums up everything ..... Then I came across an essay by Stefano Benni, "about pigs" and everything becomes funny and ironic. "
Fifteen paintings on display in the gallery space via Sperlinga where Fontana delivery in the form gesture maximum of individual expression. The painting experience is lived then as "discovery process", as the way to the deepest core of one's self, which once reached reveal their paradoxical truth: communication. Fontana painting is color, support, flesh, life, death, pain, joy, and passion.
"For me, a key point - the artist concludes Palermo action - is the sensual, almost organic relationship with the color as a subject, a constant struggle that evokes and collects experiences and suggestions aesthetic and psycho-emotional. Ongoing research on my self more intimate and profound, often focusing on self as an icon of choice and expression primarily to the delicate balance of the mind-body of contemporary man as a social animal.
