For the opening of the new Milanese center of the Gallery St. Lawrence (in the street Sirtori 31) the collective show NEXT_GENERATION will be prepared, constituted by the jobs of the 30 finalists that have overcome the selections of the Prize Patrician Barlettani, on the theme:
"1989-2009 to twenty from the fall of the wall in Berlin, how many walls do you/they still stay to demolish?" Selected on over 180 participants, these young artists, have developed, with supports and different techniques, the "them walls", underlining and setting the accents on the breaking up aspects discriminating e/o of the contemporary society.
A show of big level has sprung of it, where the anniversary XX of the fall of the wall in Berlin (9 November 1989) it is of it I sprout him/it.
The Gallery St. Lawrence, that operates in the continuous one and constant search and exploitation of the young expressive strengths from years has activated this initiative, that will also repeat him in the years to come, founding a prize entitled to Patrician Barlettani, socia founder of House Of art St. Lawrence, prematurely disappeared, that with his/her appointment and refined talent, in the years you/he/she has always sustained the search and accordingly the work, of the new strengths that operate in the field of the visual arts.
The Show opens the day to the public 17 October to her times 18'00 and he will extend up to November 28, day when the catalog will be introduced I edit for the types of the Zeta Scorpii and where the winner of the Prize will be decreed Patrician Barlettani. The jury called to express his/her own judgment is composed from:
- Maurice Vanni (Manager of the Lu.C.C.To., museologo, critical, historical of the art and administrator) - Paul Bacchereti (Art's Club President, partner founder of House of art St. Lawrence) - Massimo Barlettani (Titular of the B&A Agenzia of Publicity, experienced in communication) - George Gherarducci (Gialappa's) (Collector, Author) - Giovanni Frangi (contemporary Artist) besides the public that can express his/her own judgment through a personalized card.
The visitors can vote up to the day 27 November The Prize Patrician Barlettani consists in a personal show in the places of the Gallery St. Lawrence of Milan in the 2010.
