KUD ART STAYS, contemporary art production is organizing a new series of conferences devoted to 'contemporary art

from November 11 to December 14, 2010
at Galerija Tenzor, Mestni gledališče Ptuj, Slovenski trg na Ptuju 13.

Lessons will be held in Slovenian, Croatian and English.
They will also choose between translations from English into Slovenian.

"The social history: the contemporary relationship between politics and economics"
Nemanja Cvijanovic (born 1972) is an artist who lives and works in Rijeka, Croatia. He graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice and completed his postgraduate studies at the School of Visual Arts at the University of Architecture in Venice.
And 'one of the most important artists of the younger generation of Croatian contemporary artists. He has exhibited and organized several projects for visual arts in Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Austria, Britain, Germany, Switzerland, France, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands, Russia, China, Korea, USA. And 'member of the Society of Artists Dude društvo Rijeka and Zagreb and more. It 'also external collaborators' Academy of Fine Arts in Rijeka.


Matej Sitar, Slovenia

"A brief history of photography of the scene (scene photography) description of the project Fairytales"
Matej Sitar, born in 1980; it is a representative of the new generation of Slovenian photographers, authors who are actively and regularly in the broader field of contemporary art. In 2007 he graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana and between 2003 and 2009, he studied at the School of Applied Arts Famula Stuart. Since 2005 and actively involved with his photographic projects.
He also completed the research staff of staged photography, a series of short stories, and in 2009 received a major award bestowed dall'Essl Museum in Vienna. Matej Sitar lives and works in Ljubljana and Maribor.

Massimo Premuda, Italy

"Public art, architecture, animals and modern society: Reflections and Reports"

Massimo Premuda, artist and curator, born in Trieste in 1978, lives and works between Venice and Trieste. He graduated from Venice University of Architecture, Faculty of Fine Arts, specializing in the design and production of visual arts.
Exhibitions since 2002: Viafarini Gallery (Milan), Fondazione Bevilacqua La weight, 51 Venice Biennale and AA Gallery (Venice), GAM-Villa delle Rose and ArteFiera (Bologna), Base Gallery (Florence), Revoltella Museum, and Studio Tommaseo exhibition space Juliet (Trieste), Space (Udine), Galleria Civica d'Arte Moderno (Spoleto), the Italian Institute of Culture and Jakopič Gallery (Ljubljana), Maribor Art Gallery, Plevnik-Kronkowska Gallery and the Gallery of erotica - Duck (Celje).

Marika Vicari, Italy

"The look on the way: the study of landscape in contemporary art"
Marika Vicari was born in 1979 in Vicenza, Italy. She graduated with honors from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, painting, and in 2005 he completed his studies at the Department of Arts and Design, IUAV Venice obtained the Degree in Design and Production of visual arts. He lives and works as an artist and curator Creazzo, Vicenza in Italy, and in recent years, Ptuj in Slovenia.
His works of art are found both in solo and group exhibitions and international fairs of contemporary art, as well as in private and public collections in Italy, Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Slovakia, USA, UK , China, Brazil and Mexico. It 'also an independent art curator and worked with various art galleries and the European public and private institutions, organizing exhibitions and projects that see the participation of artists from around the world.
